1. Cookies

We use cookies on our website to recognise repeat use of our services by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores and saves on your computer. They are used to optimise our website and our services. These are mostly so-called “session cookies” which are deleted again at the end of your visit.

However, some of these cookies release information to automatically recognise you again. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way is used to optimise our services and provide you with easier access to our site.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; however, we would like to point out that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the features of our website to their full extent.

2. Server data

For technical reasons, the following data, among others, which your internet browser transmits to us or our web space provider, is collected (so-called server log files):

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Website you visited us from (referrer URL)
  • Website you are visiting
  • Date and time of your access
  • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address

This anonymised data will be stored separately from any personal data you may have provided, and therefore cannot be used to identify a specific individual. It will be analysed for statistical purposes to enable us to optimise our website and services.

3. Contact Information

We offer you the possibility to contact us via email and/or a contact form on our website. In this case, the data provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing their contact request. It will not be passed on to third parties. The data collected in this way will not be reconciled with data that may be collected by other components of our website.

4. Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation function

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as „Google“. Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“, text files that are stored on your computer and thus enable an analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your website visits, including your IP address, is transferred to Google in the USA and stored there.

We use Google Analytics on our website with an IP anonymisation feature. Your IP address will be abbreviated and thereby anonymised by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for me, and to provide other services connected with website use and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is legally required, or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings, but please note that in this case, you may not be able to fully utilise all functions of our website.

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data is collected and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information about your website visit will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activating it does not prevent information from being transmitted to myself or to any other web analytics services I may use. Further information about the deactivation option provided by Google, as well as how to activate it, can be found via the following link: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on

6. Cookie Banner

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and the associated consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Further details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at Data processing by Real Cookie Banner (devowl.io)

The provision of personal data is neither a contractual requirement nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

7. Information / Withdrawal / Deletion

You can contact me free of charge with any questions regarding the collection, processing, or use of your personal data, and for correction, blocking, deletion, or revocation of consent granted, in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act. Please note that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or personal data deleted, provided that no statutory retention requirements prevent this.
